BEFORE YOUR SESSION STARTS

You’re in a lot more control than you think in terms of what you get out of a Studio Experience! As soon as you successfully book a slot, you’ll be emailed a link to our questionnaire.
You’ll want to fill the questionnaire in as thoroughly as you can because the more time you spend detailing what you’d like to discuss, the more satisfied you’ll be when you’re taking your session and getting answers to just about everything you ask, giving you a map so you know exactly what you need to do next.
And yes, you can keep revisiting the questionnaire to add topics you’d like to discuss!
Step 1: Your question list about weddings gets answered.
You’ll have plenty of time to fill out and submit the Studio Experience questionnaire before we start your session in-person or over the phone or Zoom.
You intially may only want 1 or 2 questions answered, so we’ve created some helpful prompts designed to spur thought on things you may want to ask but haven’t thought about yet, or didn’t realise were important.
When the session starts, your questions, concerns, issues, and areas where you need ideas will get a professional’s opinion and advice so you can relax knowing your biggest wedding concerns have been solved, or at the very least, you’ve got a list of potential solutions you know you’ll be able to carry out.
Step 2: We perform a Comprehensive Wedding Planning Review...
Unless you’re a professional who’s planned hundreds of weddings, it’s impossible to avoid wedding planning mistakes, because every so often something is forgotten.
But most commonly, we keep finding that couples don’t give certain aspects of their planning the proper level of care and consideration needed for it to go smoothly, or to prevent embarrassing or frustrating situations from happening (a good example: not properly preparing your MC!).
At the same time though, little things that have very minimal impact will often get too much time, attention, and money wasted on them(an example here would be setting up costly wedding decor that guests will only briefly experience).
The Comprehensive Wedding Planning Review will have us do some digging into what you’ve currently planned to unearth areas that will cause big problems or will make for a less impactful wedding so we can give you bespoke advice on adjustments we personally would make based on our extensive experience, if we were in your shoes.
The bottom line: the Comprehensive Wedding Planning Review is all about finding you extra ways to make a bigger impact while costing you less, and avoiding anything that will cause you frustration or embarrassment both during your planning and on your big day.

A couple looking to get married in regional Victoria who need help bringing their wedding style together (but starting from scratch is fine too!).
You’ll still need to handle other areas of your wedding planning, but if you want a “safety net” that only an industry professional can provide, whom you’re able to run decisions by and ask questions to make sure you’re doing everything correctly, AND have your styling elements set up before your wedding starts… this service is for you!
Who it ISN'T for:
Our wedding styling service isn’t for a couple overly focused on saving as much as they can through DIY they won’t get to use the extent of our services.
Couples who are just looking to tick their wedding off a bucket list also won’t get to enjoy the experience either.
We also turn couples away who want a rustic style (think rusty decorations, splintering wood, aged venues and pieces, and it’s usually accompanied with native flowers or gum leaves) – we aren’t a fan of it so we haven’t gotten good at styling it. (If you do want a rustic style, you should still let us know and ask us to refer you to a rustic stylist who we trust to pull it off.)

The 3 Stage Process for Wedding Styling
Before you book wedding styling, Your Very First Studio Experience or Virtual Studio Experience will have taken place to give you all the help you need, find ways to improve your wedding, and after you’d have asked about other services, we would have discussed and determined that moving forward with wedding styling would be a great option for you.
Step 1: Discovery Meeting: Takes place more than 6 months out from your big day (ideally)
After understanding your needs clearly through Your Very First Studio Experience, we’ll need to create a Dream Wedding Mindmap of your style by looking at several key points in a face-to-face or Zoom meeting, or a phone call.
This includes things such as a style wishlist, budgets, requirements and constraints, the exploration of your dynamics as a couple to make your style truly bespoke, and the setting of some basic Pinterest homework (that’s easy and kinda fun!).
Step 2: The Planning Of Your Styling: The longest stage where we do most of our work.
A wedding master file that centralises all your styling work will keep everything organised and confusion-free, which includes the documenting of all decisions, plans, receipts, and more.
We’ll recommend and lock in style vendors we trust based on discussions we’ve had with you, create professional mood boards and style guides for all vendors we’re working with (your Pinterest board helps here), we’ll visit the site of your wedding to make floor plans, tablescapes, and find extra styling opportunities, and a finalised version of a vendor style guide will be created, only being released when you’re happy with it.
Step 3: Coordination begins: 6 weeks out, vendor communication and management ramps up…
After extensively communicating with all of your style vendors, it’s time to start working out the logistics between vendors and venue. Stationery gets inspected for errors, vendors get checked on to make sure everything’s happening as needed, and we’ll begin collecting everything style-related that needs to be set up on your big day, just to give you an idea of only a few of the tasks we’ll handle.
Tess and I will arrive on the morning of your wedding (or the day prior) and manage the arrivals and deliveries of style vendors, and make sure set up is happening as intended and everything is in place. After you’ve been married and just enjoyed one of the best days of your lives (congratulations!) we’ll collect everything we need to and make sure your other style vendors have done so as well.

Before you book wedding planning, Your Very First Studio Experience or Virtual Studio Experience will have taken place to give you all the help you need, find ways to improve your wedding, and after you’d have asked about other services, we would have discussed and determined that moving forward with wedding planning would be a great option for you.
Step 1: Discovery Meeting: Takes place around 12 months out from your big day (ideally)
Much like our wedding styling service, after understanding your needs clearly through Your Very First Studio Experience, we’ll need to create a Dream Wedding Mindmap of every aspect of your wedding and not just your style.
This means every vendor and even venue options will be considered and then organised, and full-day coordination where we manage and direct your entire wedding on the day. Wishlists will be discussed, along with budgets, constraints, requirements, and we’ll do a deep dive to understand the dynamics of you as a couple before setting some Pinterest homework.
The meeting will take place face-to-face, or through a Zoom call or phone call, whichever works best for you.
Step 2: The Planning Of Your Entire Wedding Begins: The longest stage where we do most of our work.
A wedding master file that centralises all your styling work will keep everything organised and confusion-free, which includes the documenting of all decisions, plans, receipts, and more.
If you don’t have a venue sorted, we’ll provide you with several options based on your requirements, and do site visits with you.
We’ll also explore our entire list of trusted vendors and recommend a shortlist, providing guidance on which options are best before getting your decisions and locking everything in.
(Note: This list may include — (depending on YOUR needs): your celebrant, florist, photographer, videographer, music-related vendors, entertainers, caterers, makeup artist and hair stylist, bar company and bar staff, cake decorator, stationery designer, and much more. We can also handle venue staff and logistical staff too (such as the marquees, portable toilets etc).
In total, we typically end up organising and managing 3 times more vendors than with the wedding styling service alone, which is why you’ll be avoiding a lot of stress and hassle with our wedding planning service, and where you’ll be “buying back” a lot of your time.
Our styling service is included when you order our planning service, so you’ll have professional mood boards and style guides created to be sent to all style based vendors we’re working with (your Pinterest board helps here), we’ll visit the site of your wedding to make floor plans, tablescapes, and find extra styling opportunities, and a finalised version of a vendor style guide will be created, only being released when you’re happy with it.
